PRODUCTS DETAILS BondCoat LW is a formulated bonding coat developed for use in civil industry for application in bonding of old to new concrete surfaces
USAGE Bondcoat LW is a ready to use coating ,to be used directly from the container, no need to add any other Cementetious material before application.LW stands for Long window. Conventional coatings available in the market based on polymers requires cement to be added before the application on the cemented surface. It has a inherent problem that those coating dries well before the mason can make the concrete/mortar/plaster mix & then apply on the bonding coat.This inherent deficiency of the conventional bonding agents are over come in BONDCOAT LW . Application Guidelines: Clean the surface to be applied with clean potable tap water, & allow the surface to dry out. The surface has to be free from any Dust, Dirt, Grease, oil, etc. Take the material in a Bucket or in a Paint pan depending upon the method of application. Apply by brush the ready mix material with even strokes taking enough material so that the applied film is a bit more thick than the conventional paint film When applying the coating in outdoors, do not apply if rain, fog, or extremely High humidity is expected Post application of the coating,the subsequent Cementetious material can be applied within 30 minutes Advantages: Easy to apply either by brush or Roller Longer open time as against any other conventional bonding coats( nearly 12 to 18 hours post application) Good bonding capacity with Cementetious material d
